The World Championships are the highlight of the footbike season, usually every even year.
It is usually a three-day championship consisting of a long race, relays and two disciplines from the selection – sprint, criterium, time trial. World titles are awarded in each of the mentioned disciplines.
Anyone can participate in the World Championship, unless the IKSA rules or the organizers for a given year specify otherwise. Regular participation in the World Championship is about 200 scooter riders from more than fifteen countries around the world.
